Through partnerships with law enforcement EAF provides dignity bags to law enforcement agencies to utilize during operations. Dignity bags provide a crucial reminder of humanity and respect. Thes bags are filled with essentials:
- Water
- Snack bar
- T-shit
- Socks
- Make-Up Wipes
- Prepaid phone cards or phones (when available, to replace survivors phones that have been taken for evidence)
These bags ensure that those impacted have something to wear, something to eat and drink, and a moment of care before being processed. Its not just about the arrest, it is about recognizing their dignity and humanity.

💼 Emergency Backpack Program
Partnering with law enforcement and outreach teams, we distribute backpacks filled with:
- Emergency clothing
- Hygiene items
- First aid supplies
- Resource information
- Prepaid phone cards or phones (when available)

We deploy trauma-informed staff:
- Meet survivors in the field (at hotels, jails, shelters, or directly via law enforcement)
- Conduct needs assessments
- Assist with safety planning
- Connect survivors to shelter, medical care, legal support, and therapy

🧾 Direct Financial Aid & Navigation

Our advocates and volunteers help clients:
- Access victim compensation
- Apply for benefits (Medicaid, SNAP, etc.)
- Cover urgent expenses that prevent crisis (e.g., childcare, medical, transportation)
- Cover medical/dental/vision expenses that hinder the survivor’s path to self-sufficiency
- First month’s rent or deposit
- Short-term lodging (emergency basis)
- Transportation support (bus passes, rideshare, or used car down payments)

We fund access to trauma recovery programs including:
- Equine therapy
- Nature-based wellness retreats
- Trauma counseling by licensed providers

We fill in the gaps where traditional services fall short, ensuring survivors are never left behind.
