Therapy & Mentoring
Healing does not follow a simple timeline. EAF funds access to trauma-recovery programs, including trauma counseling by licensed providers, and works with pre-screened partner organizations rather than directly providing therapy in Florida. The Therapy & Mentoring Fund supports this focused area of care and connection.
Dental Care
Dental pain, damaged teeth, infection, and long gaps without routine care can affect eating, sleeping, speaking, work, and confidence in public. EAF’s dedicated Dental Fund helps make treatment possible when the need goes beyond a routine cleaning.

Care and navigation
EAF may help cover urgent medical or vision expenses and help survivors navigate care, benefits, and victim-compensation programs.
Short-term lodging and housing support
EAF may provide short-term lodging during an emergency, connect survivors with shelter or housing resources, and assist with needs such as rent, a deposit, or setting up a home.
Transportation
Transportation support may include driving lessons, bus passes, rideshare trips, plane tickets, and in some cases a down payment on a used car.
Everyday essentials
EAF provides Dignity Bags and emergency backpacks with items such as clothing, hygiene supplies, food and water, comfort items, resource information, and a phone when available. Assistance may also include furnishings and kitchenware.
